South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut: Our dynamic four are in top form in the first feature length film of the TV series. There is a new movie at the theater, a Terrence and Phillips film, and the boys are off to see it. When they arrive at the theater they can't get in because of the R rating. They overcome this obstacle by paying off a street drunk to get the tickets for them. This is the boy's first real intense introduction to foul language. They leave the movie fully trained in the new words, and use them whenever they can. This leads to outrage from the parents. Since Terrence and Phillip are Canadian, this ends with the US and Canada going to war.
Let's Make Up Lila Says: A Marseille adolescent on the verge of manhood considers becoming an author; however he's broke, ghettoized, and pressured by his peers to be a loser till he meets a blonde bombshell who kindles his literary link, and then some. Faintly surreal myth of modern day French Arabian relationships stays lightweight and nymphet fixated till its unavoidable bittersweet ending. Prom Night: This is about exacting revenge on the boys who were accountable for the mortality of a little girl 6 years before. Not the poorest of its type, although that's nothing to boast about. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Casey Stevens, Antoinette Bower, and Robert Silverman. (91 minutes, 1980)
Albino Alligator: Disheartening flick in regards to a trio of dysfunctional lawbreakers who hide out in a basement bar in New Orleans, accidentally starting a crisis. In the mean time, the Feds assemble outside, imagining a much more perilous and desired lawbreaker is holed up inside. Spacey's directorial debut presents an excellent cast and gets off to a promising start, however it sputters to a dramatic stop midway through. Cast includes Matt Dillon, Faye Dunaway, Gary Sinise, William Fichtner, Viggo Mortensen, John Spencer, and Skeet Ulrich. Cast includes Emmet Walsh, Joe Mantegna, Frankie Faison, and Melinda McGraw.
