La Petit Lili: A family's country house is charged with sentiment while the hotheaded child, a yearning film maker actor, finds that his lady friend is captivated with his mom's boyfriend, a triumphant head of mainstream films. In spite of recognizable trappings, Altman digs deeply into period environment and hefty characterizations. This film gets better every time you watch it.
