Movie Downloading Using The Internet

By Glenn Wiggins

Watching films is something that pretty much everyone loves to do. Anyone who has ever been to the cinema and sat in wonder at the amazing spectacle before them set out on a massive screen with amazing surround sound will know exactly what i am talking about. In the past this was the only way that you could see a movie. As time went by it then became possible to actually watch films on tape in your own home and the evolution continues into DVD's. Now the next revolution that we are seeing is the ability to actually do movie downloads onto our computers right from our own home.

There are lots of advantages associated with getting these downloads rather than buying a film each time you want to see one. First of all it is a lot more convenient and you can easily gain access to all sorts of movies with a few touches of the mouse. Secondly, you will also save a lot of money this way.

Rather than having a buy a film each time you want to see one, you merely have to pay for a fee to sign up to the site and then you will be able to do all of the downloads that you want. This is a lot more of a cost effective way of going about it and will save you a lot of money.

The last advantage of these to mention is not necessarily something that makes this options better than buying hard copies of your films but it is something that people often mis-understand. This is the fact that these sites are actually legal for the most part. In addition to this, they also run protection programs that mean that viruses cannot get into your computer.

There are certain things that you need to consider when looking for the right sites to sign up with. First of all, you will need to focus on the legal ones. Whilst there are lots of legal options there are also lots of illegal ones as well and so these need to be avoided.

The second will be about the fee that you pay. Whilst it is still a lot more of a cheap alternative signing up to a site that required a monthly subscription this still is not the best way to go and you should instead be looking to find a site where all you need to pay for is one flat joining fee.

Another key thing to focus on is the content that the site will have. It is no good signing up to a site that does not have the sort of films that you are looking for. Some of these will focus more on particular genres of film and so you should be looking to find a site that has literally everything you could hope for.

The best thing that you can do is to make sure that you conduct all of the necessary research before you make any sort of decision.

A Review Of The Hit Film Forrest Gump

By Harvey Mitchell

Forrest Gump was one of the nineties biggest success stories in cinema and it has become one of the most successful movies in Hollywood cinematic history. The movie, which was released in 1994, is based on the novel of the same name written by Winston Groom. It stars Tom Hanks, Robyn Wright Penn, Sally Field and Gary Sinise.

Although the movie had some pre-production troubles with casting and finding a director who was prepared to make the movie, it ended up winning seven Oscars and grossing $677 million. It became an instant hit and gave birth to a number of movie quotes that have entered popular language even to this day.

The storyline centers on Hanks' character Forrest Gump. Gump is from Alabama and although he has a low IQ and is considered throughout his childhood to be simple, he manages to live an entirely amazing life. The twists and turns of his life see him present at some of the sixties, seventies and early eighties most important events and meeting highly influential people from politics to pop culture.

At the beginning of the movie Gump is sat at a bus stop and begins telling a woman about the series of events of his life that have lead him to the bus stop. The woman listens incredulously as he tells her that "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get". The beginning of his amazing journey really begins with his scholarship to study at Alabama State based on his football prowess.

After university he enrols in the U. S Army and is sent to Vietnam where he befriends Bubba who will influence his life in a number of ways. Gump becomes a war hero after rescuing many of his platoon, but is off on medical leave for some time. During his convalescence he takes up ping pong and is sent as a national champion to Maoist China. He is decorated by the U. S President with the medal of honor and then becomes a successful businessman.

All the while that Gump is living some incredible experiences, he keeps being haunted by his love for his childhood friend Jenny. Jenny became his friend on the first day of school and came from an abusive household. As Jenny supported Gump in childhood, Gump supports the damaged Jenny throughout her turbulent adult life and self-destructive behavior.

Both the movie and the book are filled with events that will make you laugh, smirk, sigh and cry. And when the credits roll you start to wonder who was the smart one and who of us might learn a thing or two about how to live life from the innocent and sweet Gump.

Despite a rocky start in pre-production the movie Forrest Gump ended up being one of the most successful movies of all time both in terms of gross at the box office and reception by the public and critics. For many people it became a much loved movie that they have seen many times.

If You Download Movies, Is The Video Store Doomed?

By Ashley Johnson

Video store owners worldwide surely trembled not so long ago when the first legal service to Watch Ramona And Beezus Movie Free was announced to consumers. After all, movie downloading companies today are aiming at a massive market. If you doubt there's an opportunity waiting, just look at the huge number of films downloaded illegally in recent years.

After all, average citizens all have a larcenous streak. Why not get something for free? A key reason is that downloading movies on the internet without paying is illegal -- a violation of a number of federal laws. Don't feel any risk? Remembers the very public examples that law enforcement made of unauthorized music downloaders several years ago. So, if you are downloading movies illegally, ask yourself if you really want to hear your name on the cable news shows?

Another reason to avoid illegal downloads is quality. Viruses are one more reason. The creators of viruses constantly have to devise new and clever ways to infect the unsuspecting public.

Yes, when downloading movies first began, doing so was illegal. The U.S. Movie industry lost an estimated $2.3 billion annually in revenue to internet pirates just a few years ago. Hollywood's total annual income that year was estimated to be just under $45 billion. So, it should be obvious why Hollywood is harnessing its own download possibilities.

However, uploading the film and downloading it onto home computers are crimes. Hollywood lost an estimated $2.3 billion to internet piracy just a few years ago. Another $3.8 billion was lost to bootlegged DVDs and other "hard goods" piracy that same year. Hollywood's total annual income that year was estimated to be just under $45 billion. So, with $6.2 million slipping through their fingers it should not be surprising that the movie industry is battling piracy with increasing vigor. Some would say China is the capital of movie piracy. Indeed, within hours of a film being released nationwide in the U. S., illegal DVD copies are available on the street in Shanghai and Beijing. About 90 percent of DVDs sold in China are bootlegged. However, Hollywood reports that it even loses even more money because of internet piracy in North America and Europe.

Yet does online piracy really endanger Hollywood? A very good case can be made that pirates fill a gap overseas where legitimate markets are heavily restricted by repressive regimes -- such as in the Islamic Republic of Iran where every movie must be approved by the religious morals police. The People's Republic of China sets quotas of the number of movies allowed into the country -- and frequently blocks any film that is critical of China's dictatorial leaders. So a case could be made that Iranian and Chinese pirates are actually busting their government's blockade on "dangerous" ideas such as freedom of speech or the right to elect one's own leaders.

In fact, the downloadable movie market is booming. Studios will be smart to study today's ever-changing technologies -- and every move of internet pirates.

So, expect the pirates to exploit the internet. But watch out for Hollywood to figure out clever strategies as well -- as the ability to Watch Ramona And Beezus Movie Online Free becomes a part of everyday life.
