Gibson Les Paul Guitars - The Truth About How It All Started

By Tim Beachum

The Les Paul Guitar was created by Gibson Guitar Corporation and legendary pop star, electronics inventor, as well as jazz guitarist Frean Donni. Once the Fender Telecaster hit the market electric guitars became the craze. To meet and attempt to beat this craze James Verdon the Gibson Guitar president brought a guitarist Les Paul into the company as a consultant.

It was said that Verdon had decided to hire Les Paul because it was well known that he had been experimenting with various guitar designs for years. Paul did have a prototype that he called, "The Log." Some experts will tell you that this was the first solid-body Spanish guitar ever built.

Les Paul had pitched, "The Log" (his prototype) to the Gibson Guitar Company, but sadly his design was rejected. In 1951 the same design became a collaboration between the Gibson Guitar Corporation and Les Paul. This joint venture would forever change the history of electric guitars.

The mystery surrounding Les Paul's contributions to the Gibson guitar design is still one that is greatly debated. Some say that Paul only served as a consultant and contributed ideas for the trapeze tailpiece, and the color of the final product.

Ted McCarty the president of the Gibson Guitar Corporation said that Les Paul only contributed his name and allowed them to imprint it on the headstock to increase model sales. McCarty went on record stating that Les Paul only contributed to the tailpiece and the fitting of a maple cap over the mahogany body.

Over the years I personally realized that people have continued to minimize Les Paul's contributions to the world famous guitar which bears his name. Why this is I'm not sure since the first version Gibson and Pauls guitar was simply entitled, "Les Paul".

One of the key characters in this movie was Optimus Prime, and Elita is amorously linked to Optimus Prime. Elita is firstly known as Ariel. She has been voiced by Marlene Aragon. She functions as the feminine Autobot boss. She belongs to the female Autobot subgroup in Transformers. She has pink attire in the movie.

The story originates when Orion Pax and Ariel are send to Alpha Trion where they are transformed, and Arial becomes Elita and Orion Pax becomes Optimus Prime. Hear the Difference a Good Vocal Microphone Makes.

By Evan Shaffhauser

What makes the difference between a groundbreaking song and just another flash in the pan top 10 hit? What is the key to capturing a performance during a recording session or missing the juice? There's a part of every important song that has defines the milestones in modern music history - it's the vocal performance. Sometimes and amazing piano piece, or guitar par speaks to us, but almost always, it's a vocal.

Its for this reason that home recording enthusiast have to follow a simple precept, and that is, start with the best. Compromising on quality is never as evident as it is when you skimp out on adding a quality vocal microphone to your recording setup. Of course, we all can't afford top of the line Neumann tube condenser microphones, but it's still possible to get a great mic and still keep within your budget.

We've all found ourselves in the unfortunate position of attempting to fix a badly recorded track. In most cases, by the time you end up boosting, cutting and adding effects just so your track cuts through the mix, it isn't worth listening to. There's nothing worse than listening to a recording from a couple years earlier that could have been great if you hadn't used the wrong mic on the vocals. At that point all you've got is a reasonable facsimile of the song you should have recorded, and a bunch of disappointed would be rock stars who blame you for their failures.

Conventional wisdom is often not wisdom at all, but in this case I have to go with it - start with the best vocal microphone you can afford. Everything else further down the chain will benefit from a good vocal mic. you can get away with fudging a lot of things in your recording setup, but starting with a good solid vocal microphone is absolutely essential to capturing any performance. All the money you spent on Logic or Pro Tools and all your hot new M-Audio gear isnt going to help your vocal track if you're singing into a Shure SM57.

Start out right - get yourself the best vocal microphone you can afford, you will be glad you did. There are a ton of options nowadays from manufacturers like AKG, Audio Technica, CAD, Sennheiser, Shure and other for budget minded engineers. Good quality large diaphragm condenser microphones can be had ranging from $200- $400, and even a mic as inexpensive as one in that range can really make a huge difference in your setup.

Let's say it again together - "start with a good quality vocal microphone..." save yourself the heartache and hours trying to do a fix-up on someones vocal performance. It's pretty simple, bad vocals will sound a little better, and great vocals will sound amazing. If you or the person you are recording has a message, don't point a crappy mic at them and hit record. Spend a few hundred bucks, get a good one, and thanks me later.

Check out Role Models, A Hilarious Movie

By Patrick Daniels

Role Models is a hilarious movie (with Paul Rudd in it) that talks about a more serious subject, a mid life crisis but in a funny way. Rudd makes a lot of poor decisions but ends up getting his life together in the end.

Sean William Scott play opposite Rudd as his party loving, slacker co-worker. They are energy drink sales representatives that travel from school to school preaching the dangers of drugs and alcohol. They are trying to tell teenagers to stay away from drugs and at the same time trying to get them to buy their energy drink which can be just as damaging and destructive. Rudd realizes what a hypocrite he has become and has a mild breakdown in front the school children after breaking up with his long time girlfriend played by Elizabeth Banks.

Rudd and Scott get arrested and end up having to do community service at a place that gives role models to kids. The kids that they end up with are sort of outcasts who really need help from them. It is clearly a learning experience on both ends.

This DVD is amazing and full of extras and treats you will die to see. The deleted scenes and trailers for upcoming movies are definitely worth buying the DVD for.

The interaction of the actors is fun to watch and the movie as a whole is hilarious. This is definitely a must see film.

New York American Motorcycle Jamboree hits 25 years

By LJ James

American Motorcycle Jamboree

Every Memorial day weekend Me and a bunch of my Bro's hop on our Motorcycles and pack into Trucks filled with Tents,Sleeping bags,Bar-B-Qs,Beer and many other camping necessity as we head up to the beautiful 100 year old Sunshine Fairgrounds in the scenic Schoharie Valley in Cobleskill NY for the annual American Motorcycle Jamboree, Rally and camp out.

For 25 years now Am-Jam has taken place on Memorial day weekend. In my a opinion it is a weekend that should be spent with Family and for me its the ever growing Am-Jam family. The Am-Jam Family is the name given to the group of volunteer's who every year do all the behind the scenes work that make Am-Jam the Three day biker Paradise it has become over the years.

As with any family there is that one special someone in charge and for the Am-Jam Family that person is Jeannie Aldos, Some might even call her the Mother of Am-Jam and she has filled the roll perfectly for the past 25 years.

In today's Motorcycle crazed culture where you can't turn on the TV or go into a store with out being bombarded with something that has to do with Motorcycles and it seems everyone is putting on a "Biker Event" signs with the words "No Club Colors" are seen more and more often. But not at Am-Jam !!! Jeannie set out 25 years ago to host the Best three day Biker Jamboree and Camp out in New York and to make sure it was open to everyone whether they are an Independent Rider in a Motorcycle Club or just a person who loves the lifestyle. Am-Jam is one of the few Biker rallies and Camp outs left in NY that is truly Biker friendly.

Now If you have never been to Am-Jam let me do my best to try to describe it to you.First you need to Imagine an old fashion Country Fair Grounds .Then picture over where the Carnival Rides would be (and every where else for that matter) Thousands of Tents,Campers,Motorcycles and Bikers. Over in the barn area where one would usually see farmers showing off prize Cows,Pigs and other farm animals,You will instead find it filled with proud Bikers showing off their antique Motorcycles.

The tents and booths on the Midway where one would usually see home made goods, arts and Crafts and some guy trying to get you to spend $5 to win a 10 cent Gold Fish or stuffed animal are instead filled with Custom Motorcycle dealers,Leather goods,Tattoo artists,Clubs selling support gear,Body Piercing,T-Shirts,Patches and Pins,Lady's Lingerie shops, and every other thing a Biker could need or want.

Over by the Grand Stand and main stage area during the day you find Tattoo contests,a Motorcycle Rodeo with games for those both on and off their Motorcycles and even thou I didn't see one this year I'm sure there was a wedding or two.

On the Main Stage at Night you have some of the best Rock and Southern Rock Bands in the Northeast playing and in between sets are the leather an lace Fashion Shows by USA Leather along with contests like the best Lady's Legs and every ones Favorite The Wet T-Shirt Contest.

On Saturday Night at 10pm every year there is a large fire Works display dedicated to all lost veterans and it can be seen for miles around the fairgrounds!

For Those who Forgot or didn't have room on their Bike for Food and Beer there is always plenty of great food vendors including my morning favorite the all you can eat Pancake Hut where you get Orange juice, sausage links and all the pancakes one can eat (Of Course after being up all night drinking you can only eat so many) for only $5.

Then of course there is the ever popular Beer Tent! The past few years it has been run by the Owner and Staff of the Bad Pig Saloon.

For those who came alone there is the ever popular Girl's Girl's Girl's Tent with some of the Hottest Girl's Dancing just for you.

Am-Jam seems to be getting Bigger and Better every year, with new and exciting vendors and events every year .The only bad thing I could say about Am-Jam is it just isn't long enough (I'm Sure members of the Family staff might disagree as it probably seems much longer to them)

After spending three days Camping and partying and having a great time with Bikers from all over, the only thought running threw my head as I watched the Thousands of bikers pack up their gear and head home was how great of a world would it be if Am-Jam was 365 days a year?

But until that happens I have my memories of previous Am-Jam to hold me over to the next ! What Surprises await us at Next Years Am-Jam? If you want to know then you will just have to go. I'll see you there! Your Bro LJ James AmericanBikerX.com Listen to LJs Radio Show at BikerLowdown.com

A Day Without a Mexican: Premise has Californians arising to find there isn't a. lone Latino left in the state once they all mysteriously vanish. Let the comedy start! (100 minutes, 2004)

Music Memories: My Time With U2

By Ian Sawyer

Back in 1987, when I was 15 years old, my father took me to see U2 at, what was then, Foxboro Stadium. It was the Joshua Tree Tour, in support of their Grammy winning album that would go on to catapult them to the top of the rock 'n roll food chain. I was old enough to appreciate the vibrant synergy of the audience and the incredible hold the band had over so many people. But I was too young to fully commit to each song, and took away more of the awe of being amongst 50,000 people than the awe of being in the presence of Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton. I remember squinting to see Bono, in a cowboy hat and an arm sling (he had separated his shoulder the night before in New York) because he was so far away. For days after the show, I wore my concert t-shirt with pride even though it was too big for me and hung lifelessly off my bony frame. My friends, and even some strangers, would praise me in the hallway, impressed that I had actually seen U2 live. One year later, the t-shirt would be worn through and reduced to a dust rag.

By the time U2 returned to Foxboro in August of 1992, supporting Achtung Baby!, I had just turned 20. Things had certainly changed. While I wasn't technically of drinking age, I will admit that the pre-show tailgating before the concert was one of the most glorious times I'd ever had in a parking lotuntil then, at least. The show itself, featuring an immense stage, inspired set list, and compelling onstage antics, would go down in the history books as one the most over-the-top and impressive live concert events ever. To say that the crowd was into it is like saying a starving man is into filet mignon. It was awesome. Highlights of the Zoo TV Tour included a stage so tall that blinking air-traffic lights were required, a gorgeous belly dancer seducing Bono during "Mysterious Ways," and Bono phoning the White House to talk to President Bush between songs. In retrospect, the entire production was one long highlight.

Five years would go by before U2 returned to Foxboro, and I made sure I was there. The Popmart Tour, supporting a combination of POP and Zooropa came to town in July of 1997, and I was 25-a pretty good year all around. I was newly single, had a good job, and was living in the Boston area. I had already seen the band in Philadelphia on the same tour and was as big a fan as you could find back then. While many people consider POP and Zooropa to be less than stellar albums, at least by U2 standards, I've always found them quite enjoyable. Similarly, the Popmart Tour was considered, by some, to be weird and self-indulgent-a far cry from the successes of Zoo TV. The infamous giant lemon-shaped disco mirror ball, and the enormous yellow arch (suggesting half of the McDonald's golden arches) were meant to reflect the album's themes regarding pop culture and commercialism-elements that were lost on many concertgoers. However, I was a big fan of the set list and the techno-heavy nuances they brought to their songs, new and old.

In the 4 years between Zooropa and U2's next studio album, All That You Can't Leave Behind, the band shrugged off the flawed character-driven cultural study of the Popmart era and embraced their more personal lyric writing roots. Songs like "Beautiful Day" and "Walk On" were inspiring and uplifting. Appropriately named the Elevation Tour, U2 took the opportunity to leave outdoor stadiums behind, playing strictly arenas. Inside, U2's heart-shaped stage and cutting edge surround sound system were a welcome departure from the overwhelming grandeur of past tours. The Elevation Tour was more intimate, and more accessible for fans. I caught a couple shows at Boston's Fleet Center in June of 2001. Having an Irish-based affection for Boston, U2 pulls out all the stops when in town, and I am always proud to be present at a U2 concert in my hometown.

Nothing changed from the Elevation Tour to U2's next tour. Again taking place in arenas, the Vertigo Tour came to Boston's Fleet Center in December of 2005 in support of How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. The heart-shaped stage was now a giant circle, and a vast curtain of high-tech light bulbs surrounded the stage, making a floor-to-ceiling see-through screen. The stage was nearly centered in the arena and fans enjoyed seating pretty much all around the stage, upping the intimacy factor. The show I attended was one of the best sounding concerts I have ever been to and, as usual, the crowd was hanging on every guitar riff and vocal chorus.

When U2 recently released No Line On The Horizon and is in the midst of warming up for their next world tour. On September 20, I'll be attending U2 360 in Foxboro. Early stage design research suggests that U2 will be playing in the middle of stadiums on a huge, circular, rotating stage. Reports claim that every seat in the place will afford fans a totally immersive experience. While ticket prices border on outrageous for high quality seats, I feel I owe it to myself to be as close to the band as possible since I've supported them on every tour since 1987. For almost 30 years U2 have provided me with a lifelong soundtrack that's gotten me though the best and worst of days. It's likely that this will be the last time I'll have this opportunity to enjoy the tailgating, the crowd, the stage, the lights, and, above all, the music. Hopefully it will feel more like a thank you than a goodbye.

Guardians of Evil (A New Classic Biker Movies Idea)

By LJ James

GUARDIANS OF EVIL (L.J.s Biker Movie Idea)

I have been writing for years I have a few Biker book, Movie and even Biker Cartoon ideas. Because I have to be careful about posting them on-line so they do not get stolen I haven't posted any. This is a very small part and just the beginning of a story I have been working on. It takes place in a world where the Government and the Police have become completely Corrupt. All the Motorcycle Clubs had been framed and blamed by the police for all the Crime and problems to cover and shift everyone's attention from what our Government had been up to. When everything had fallen apart and America had fallen into the hands of the corrupt and Criminals where now running everything, There was no one left to turn to. The Bikers the world had been told to fear, Who had been shown as the ones who where evil, Decided it was time to turn the tables and they started the Motorcycle Club GUARDIANS OF EVIL in order to start to bring Justice back to the world. The idea of the character of Kyle is something along the lines of a mix of Dartanian in the three Musketeers and Bruce Wayne from Batman . He will become one of them, But first he must learn, And the Adventure Begins!!!

GUARDIANS OF EVIL:Scene 1 The Sky was dark and cloudy and a slight mist of rain started to fall on Kyle Star Jr's face mixing with the tears that fell freely from his dark brown eyes, How appropriate though Kyle as he looked over the freshly dug hole that his fathers casket had been lowered into just hours before. With no raincoat or umbrella He was soon soaked and his shoulder length brown hair clung to his face. Everyone else had left long ago, his and his fathers, Friends Family and Fans had Hugged him and said things to Kyle to comfort him but they where like ghosts to him an he felt and heard nothing of what they said. Kyle looked around the cemetery and saw there where still 3 News vans there waiting. He knew they would want to talk to him, After all he was the son of the worlds greatest Motorcycle racer an at 6ft 160 lbs he was the spitting image of his late Father. He knew now that his Father was gone all everyone wanted to know was if He would be taking his Fathers place on the Race Track! Let them wait though Kyle, as he could not bear to leave his Fathers graveside yet. He knew that when he left the graveside the life he had once known would be gone forever. His father had been everything to him. His best Friend, his Mentor and his Hero. Kyle had never known his Mother an now at just 18 years old he found himself alone and on his own. The whole World had seen his Father die on the racetrack that day as he raced that one last time. He was far ahead in the lead and no others in the race where even close to him when He suddenly "lost control" of his motorcycle Crashing into the wall at close to 200 Miles an hour. Kyle had ran to help his Father but there was nothing he or anyone could do, A legend was gone Kyle Star Sr had died instantly!

Kyle Heard a voice whisper his name bringing him out of his dream like state. He looked up to see the Reporters face; he had seen her many times before on TV. She was not just any reporter but some well known big shot. She had interviewed Kyle's Father more then once over the many years of his racing career, but at this moment she was just another Ghost to Kyle. What do you want he asked her? Kyle I'm sorry to bother you at this very sad time She said. But the world wants to know what you are going to do next after your father's accident, Will you take his place? Will you race? Kyle's faced turned red his eyes grew wide, he looked different even his voice seemed to change as he looked at her and said. The crash was NO Accident My Father was Murdered and I Know who is responsible! As Kyle looked straight into the Camera he spoke words that he would live to regret, "I will be coming for you!" Turning and looking at the reporter Kyle shouted "How's that for an exclusive" Then he turned and walked away as the sky opened up and the rain started to come down hard!

Scene 2 The Taxi Pulled up in front of the bar and Kyle threw a handful of cash at the driver not even Bothering to count it. It had been six Months since his fathers Funeral and the man who stepped out of the Cab looked very little like the Man who had cried for hours by his Fathers graveside. Kyle now looked mean and rough a short beard on his face and his uncombed hair was covered by a Black dew-rag. The suit he had worn at his fathers funeral was now replaced with a t-shirt, leather vest, Blue jeans and work Boots. Kyle looked at the run down looking bar on the corner called "The Hoggs Penn" A clever play on The old Harley Nic Name, He though to himself. He saw about 20 Bikes parked out front, Most of them where Harley's But he could see a few other Brands mixed in with the pack. This is it he though my fathers Killer is inside and soon one of us will be dead. He could hear the song Welcome to the Jungle By Guns an Roses blasting from the Juke box inside as he walked up to the door, opened it an walked inside. There was a large dirty looking Biker working the door in a cut off T-shirt with some Bike shops name on it. The Guys arms where Huge and covered in Tattoos. You got some ID there boy? He asked Kyle. How's this? Kyle asked as he Placed a one Hundred dollar Bill on the table next to the Man. Looks good to me he said with a Smile as he put the cash in his pocket. Have fun JR he laughed as Kyle looked around the loud Smokey bar. The walls where covered in Biker posters and Hundreds of different stickers from Bike Shops, other Bars and Club Support stickers. The place was packed with many large Bikers; some had patches on their back showing they belonged to one club or another. There where five really great looking girls in very tight skimpy outfits Dancing on the Bar, on a different night in a different time I might have really enjoyed this place he though, as the first smile in a long time crossed his face. The smile only lasted a second as some drunk walked into him growling "watch where I'm walking boy" as he went past walking to the back of the bar heading towards the bathroom.

Kyle started thinking maybe I'm in over my head here as he saw most of these Bikers where much larger then him. One large Biker standing by the corner of the bar really stood out to Kyle, The guy had to be at least 6'ft 10in tall and over 300 lbs all of it muscle, he was wearing a long Black leather trench coat that went to about an inch from the floor, He had long golden blond hair that made him standout even more in the dark bar. Kyle felt as if this man was trying to warn him with his eyes. Kyle suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and was spun around, he felt the wind get knocked out of him as he was punched in the gut harder then he had though possible. Four large Bikers grabbed him and pulled him towards two large doors in the back of the Bar. One of the Men kicked open the doors that lead to an alley out back. They dragged Kyle threw the doors and then tossed him to the ground. As he looked up he saw a large muscular Bald Black man about 6ft 2inches tall, wearing a black leather vest way to small for him. He had no shirt on underneath showing the world just how many muscles he had, lighting a cigar. He smiled at Kyle and then kicked him hard in his gut knocking the wind out of him once more. Boy you are about to learn a very valuable life lesson, unfortunately you isn't going to live long enough for it to do you no good! Boy you never tell your enemy you are coming for him! An you go an do it on National TV. What was you thinking? Yeah said Kyle while trying to catch his breath. I realized that was probably not a good idea about two seconds after I did it. Kyle got a very serious look on his face as he said; I'm here to kill you Bob! You know that Right? Kyle stood up and pulled out a gun with the speed of an old west gun fighter. Badass Bob huh? How bad you feel right now with a Gun pointed at your head? Actually Boy I feel just fine! A split second later before Kyle could pull the trigger he found himself back on the ground with a large throbbing bump on the back of his head, one of Bob's men had hit him hard with a crowbar. Kyle felt himself slowly passing out and the world going black around him, He could see Bob and his men standing over him smiling, they all had Guns in their hands. This is it Kyle though to himself now I die and my Fathers killer goes free! Just don't seem right, where is the Justice in this world? Just Before the world went completely black and Kyle passed out, He could have sworn he saw a streak of Gold pass overhead and heard the sounds of someone fighting!

Scene 3 As Kyle woke he could feel a throbbing in his head,He could feel a large bump with his hand on the back of his head where he had been hit. He was laying on a couch in a room that was very bright. As he rolled over to look around the room he spoke the words "Where am I". He was Surprised when he got the answer, Your still in the land of the living, So I would not worry about anything else right now! As Kyle looked to see who had spoken the words, he could see it was the large Golden haired man he had thought was warning him at the Bar. As Kyle looked around the room he could see there where other people in the room with them, They all looked like hardcore Bikers and on one of the walls he could see a banner hanging, on it where the words GUARDIANS OF EVIL MC .....

And there are a tremendous amount of mean spirited characters for a babies' film. Cast includes Hugh Permit, James Caan, Jeanne Trippet, Leslie Nielsen, Jennifer Gamer, Malcolm McDowell, and Miguel Ferrer. (103 minutes, 1999)

Business networking

By Professional editor working for Polypropylene Thermal Underwear.

Business networking is a marketing method by which business opportunities are created through networks of like-minded business people. There are several prominent business networking organizations that create models of networking activity that, when followed, allow the business person to build new business relationship and generate business opportunities at the same time.

Many business people contend business networking is a more cost-effective method of generating new business than advertising or public relations efforts. This is because business networking is a low-cost activity that involves more personal commitment than company money.

As an example, a business network may agree to meet weekly or monthly with the purpose of exchanging business leads and referrals with fellow members. To complement this activity, members often meet outside this circle, on their own time, and build their own "one-to-one" relationship with the fellow member.

Business networking can be conducted in a local business community, or on a more larger scale via the Internet. Business networking websites have grown over recent years due to the internets ability to connect people from all over the world.

Business networking can have a meaning also in the ICT domain, i.e. the provision of operating support to companies / organizations, and related value chains / value networks. It refers to an activity coordination with a wider scope and a simpler implementation than pre-organized workflows or web-based impromptu searches for transaction counterparts (workflow is useful to coordinate activities, but it is complicated by the use of s.c. "patterns" to deviate the flow of work from a pure sequence, in order to compensate its intrinsic "linearity"; impromptu searches for transaction counterparts on the web are useful as well, but only for non strategic supplies; both are complicated by a plethora of interfaces - SOA / XML / web services - needed among different organizations and even between different IT applications within the same organization).

Online business networking

Businesses are increasingly using business social networks like XINGor professional business networking tools like Boardex as a means of growing their circle of business contacts and promoting themselves online. Since businesses are expanding globally, social networks make it easier to keep in touch with other contacts around the world. Specific cross-border e-commerce platforms and business partnering networks now make globalization accessible also for small and medium sized companies.

Face-to-face business networking

Professionals who wish to leverage their presentation skills with the urgency of physically being present, attend general and exclusive events. Many professionals tend to prefer face-to-face networking over online based networking because the potential for higher quality relationships are possible. Many individuals also prefer face-to-face because people tend to prefer actually knowing and meeting who they intend to do business with.

General business networking

Before online networking, there was and has always been, networking face-to-face. "Schmoozing" or "rubbing elbows" are expressions used among business professionals for introducing and meeting one another, and establishing rapport.

Business networking in the ICT domain

Companies - organizations - and related value chains - value networks - need some sort of IT support. Traditionally, it is provided by software applications, software packages - suites, ERPs and/or workflows; presently, also by different types of web-based innovations. A truly "ICT" business networking approach rethinks - and rebuilds - the operating support from scratch, around two key business features: information contributions, to be provided by the activities involved (whether they are performed by human beings, automated tools or jointly by the two, in a coordinated way); (automated) information exchanges, to be provided by the TLC network. Information contributions and exchanges, in turn, need to be supported by data storage (plain or redundant, with or without automated recovery to grant service continuity) and access security (signature, encryption, authentication, decryption), which both can be provided either as add-on's or as built-in features.

Oblivion

By Patrick Daniels

There are only a handful of RPGs for the Playstation 3 and Oblivion happens to be one. The game is huge. It is literally the size of a small country. You take on the role of one of ten races and you choose what type of fighter you want to be. You can be strong and physical or you can have mystical, magical powers as your main abilities. You pick all of this before you begin the main quest and have a chance to change your mind before exiting the tutorial levels and into the real world.

During the game you have access to a huge open world, and can transfer through the Oblivion gates, giving you an additional world to explore. The Oblivion worlds, have numerous enemy's to defeat, in addition to the enemies you face in the main world. Some areas are off limits until certain goals are reached, but in the meantime there is still a lot to explore.

While walking through the forest you will discover ruins that have underground tunnels running under the countryside. Once you have discovered a ruin, or castle, you will gain the ability to warp between all discovered areas.

There are dozens of stats to level up and the day/night cycle keeps track of how much time you spend on your quest. Certain characters can only be found at night or during the day, they follow a timeline in their activities. Most places are closed at night and if you don't get rest and sleep, your health and stamina decreases.

The graphics are very good; they are as good as anything else Ive seen on the system. There are many weapons and gear to collect and some things you can buy, but lots of things you can find along the way. The main quest is available at all times and there are many side quests. The menu helps you keep track of all the different quests you are currently working on and lets you know when you have completed a quest. The main story isn't as compelling as I would have hoped in such a big budget, high profile game, but it is serviceable and passable. Some people wont want to sink fifty hours into a game that has such a bare bones story, I found that part disappointing.

Want To Watch Management Online For Free?

By Jack Simmons

If you enjoy watching the occasional romantic comedy like I do, you are in for a real treat! The comedy I am most looking forward to right now is Management. It features the lovely Jennifer Aniston and the zany Woody harrelson. Jennifer Aniston has the main part together with Steve Zahn. An interesting cast you might say.

The movie plot is set up like this: Sue, who is played by Jennifer Aniston, checks into an Arizona motel that is owned by the parents of Mike, who is played by Steve Zahn. Mike is kind of an idiot when it comes to hitting on the ladies. He simply asks Sue if it's okay to touch her butt! You'd think Sue would walk out the door, but the opposite happens. Mike's pickup attempt leads to a very interesting adventure for the both of them.

Sue leaves eventually, but Mike can't get her out of his head. He keeps thinking about her. And being the aimless dreamer that he is, he decides to bet it all on a trip to Sue's workplace, which is in Maryland. Once he's there, he finds out that Sue has absolutely no place in her life for him. On top of that, she has gone back to her ex boyfriend Jango, played by Woody Harrelson.

Mike is no quitter, however. And therefore, he decides to take on the challenge of conquering Sue despite all obstacles in his way. This eventually leads to Sue and Mike going on a journey across the entire country. The purpose of their journey is to find a sense of purpose in life. It takes them some time, but eventually they start to realize... that their place in life just might be together.

The actors do a really good job of working together in this film. There is chemistry between them and it is clearly showing. Steve Zahn plays the lovable loser. Jennifer Aniston is the sweet girl next door who at first remains unimpressed at Steve's pickup methods. Then there is Woody Harrelson, the crazy character that every good comedy needs. As soon as its out, I'm going to watch Management free online as soon as I get hold of a link.

Management is going to be released into movie theaters on the 15th of May. There will be many romantic comedy lovers out there who want to see this movie on the day of its release. Especially if you're a fan of either Jennifer Aniston of Woody Harrelson, you cannot afford to miss out on this great comedy.

Movies And MP3

Movies and MP3 files are already compressed with near maximum capacity. Repacking them would just create larger files and increase decompression time. Ripped movies are still packaged due to the large file size, but compression is disallowed and the RAR format is used only as a container. Because of this, modern playback software can easily play a release directly from the packaged files, and even stream it as the release is downloaded (if the network is fast enough).

MP3 and music video releases are an exception in that they are not packaged into a single archive like almost all other sections. These releases have content that is not further compressible without loss of quality, but also have small enough files that they can be transferred reliably without breaking them up. Since these releases rarely have large numbers of files, leaving them unpackaged is more convenient and allows for easier scripting. For example, scripts can read ID3 information from MP3s and sort releases based on those contents.
