Uli Jon Roth - Scorpions Guitarist Bio

By Nathan Spencer

Uli Jon Roth, the German guitarist, was born on the 18th of December 1954. He has made an immense contribution to the field of neo-classical metal music. Roth, along with some other members, and towards the beginning of the 1970s, had formed a band entitled Dawn Road. In 1973 the Scorpions disbanded owing to Michael Schenker who had left it to join the UFO. Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker , the other existing members of Scorpions, joined together with the members of Dawn Road to form a very strong group. The name of this group was changed to Scorpions since is had become quite popular during those years. Hence Uli Jon Roth became the Scorpions guitarist.

During the years 1974 and 1977 the Scorpions released four albums in which Roth played the role of main songwriter, occasional lead singer and of course the lead guitarist. One of the best selling live albums of the Scorpions, Tokyo Tapes, was recorded in 1978, in Japan. Before the release of the album, Roth had left the band. Electric Sun, Roth's very own band was formed and three albums were released. The initial album was released in the year 1979. Dedicated to Jimi Hendrix , it was entitled Earthquake. The other albums were Fire Wind, released in 1981, and Beyond the Astral Skies in 1985. They were dedicated to Anwar el-Sadat and Martin Luther King respectively.

Roth, later, composed two concertos and four symphonies and had even performed with some symphony orchestras all through Europe. Henceforth the name 'Uli John Roth' was used by him for all his concerts and album releases. In the year 2001 Roth had even played for Castle Donington, which happens to be an outdoor rock festival. Later on this got released on DVDs. Roth, along with the Scorpions, featured in a concert in 2006 at Wacken Open Air Festival. It was named as "A Night To Remember, A Journey Through Time" and had become a great success.

Roth is the founder of the Sky Academy and the creator of the Sky Guitar. These are in fact the best rock guitars for beginners. He had specially made custom guitars which had additional frets. Roth had five of these kinds of guitars which had been used by the guitarist of Fair Warning and were made by a person of British origin. Home Theater Speakers

By Sam Williams

In a typical home theater setup, there should be six home theater speakers: two front speakers, two surround speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer for the lowest frequency ranges. There are two ways to obtain all these speakers: buying each of them seperately, or buying a home theater speaker set.

Home Theater Speaker Sets:

If you're low on budget, you should think about one of these. But remember: don't spare on speakers, they're very important. There are lots of cheap home theater speaker sets on the market, but you shouldn't buy one of them, because these are of poor quality. Usually, sets manufactured by well-know brands (Klipsch, Bose, for example) produce a decent sound. This way you'll still not spend as much as you would on separate speakers.

If you're thinking about buying one of these sets, read our article on home theatres in a box.

Going One By One:

So, you're serious about your future home theater, and want to spend a little more on the speakers? Buying speakers separately has many advantages: it's the best quality you can have, and another, often overlooked advantage is that you can don't have to buy the whole set at a time, so if you haven't got the money, you can still have high quality speakers in your setup.

Your front speakers should be the strongest members in your home theater speaker setup. If you have a small room, choose bookshelf speakers. Larger rooms will require larger speakers; in this case, powerful floor-standing speakers is the choice to go with.

I often hear that it is advisable to have the exact same speakers for surround and front. This is true, but it's not very practical: movie sound mixes don't use surround speakers as much as they use the front speakers. So, you can choose smaller and less-powerful speakers for your surround setup, it won't make significant differences anywhere except your wallet.

The surround and front units were good, old-fashioned hi-fi speakers used for a home theater setup. The case is different with our center speaker. It's a special speaker with unique frequency response. If it's possible, have the center speaker from the same brand as the surround and front speakers. This unit is also often overlooked, but it's very important, because this speaker is used for voices and talking in a sound mix.

The subwoofer is used to reproduce the lower frequencies. Sometimes, it's optional: the front speakers can be powerful enough to rock the house, and an additional subwoofer is not needed. However, in larger rooms, it's inevitable. Subwoofers require lots of power, and in most cases, they require their own power input (these are called "active subwoofers").

The Crucial Elements of Guitar Lessons for Beginners

By Payo W Perry

Complete beginners on guitar need to be careful in the early stages of learning to play guitar. It's a time when your technique is susceptible to bad habits and these can be difficult correct later on. For this reason we're going to talk about how to identify good guitar lessons for beginners.

First on your list should be to try and find a good local teacher, failing that your next best option is going to be online. There are 1000's of guitar websites but a lot of them fall far short in the quality of their lessons so choose wisely.

It's best to try out some of their sample lessons. I'll always think it's a bad sign if they don't have any on offer as it shows a lack of confidence on their part. You need to check that their teaching style is at a speed you can learn from and that you understand the content covered in the lesson very clearly.

Beginner guitar lessons must be taught in a specialized way and not every tutor can do it equally well. Look out for lessons where nothing is left to doubt; at the end of each lesson you should be 100 percent clear on what to do and how to do it. It's the only way you'll really learn effectively, especially when the lessons are online.

Go to the lessons section and try to see if what's known as an even curve is in place. This means that there's a natural flow in and out of the lessons as though they were connected. Without this you run the risk of being frustrated as guitar lessons for beginners are most effective when building upon the success of the last lesson.

Don't neglect your own responsibility as the student either. Great guitar lessons aren't in themselves enough to guarantee your success! Use the pause button a lot to review the material as it goes along and don't rush, try to learn each step in a secure way before building upon it.

Let's take a look now at what's really important for guitar lessons for beginners.

First on the list must be to locate the best lessons you can find. That will be the biggest favor you can do for yourself! Check that the lessons flow at a good speed for you to learn from and maintain an even learning curve. Finally take responsibility and use the pause button a lot to review and practice what's being covered, even though guitar lessons for beginners may be simple and slow you still need to treat them with respect.

Set It Off Movie Fans Unite!

By Johnnie Longridge

Hold up a bank? Sure, why not. And the Set It Off movie cast was chosen perfectly to imitate four girlfriends who, after being messed up by the system and have nothing to lose, decide to get into the bank robbing industry.

The Set It Off movie Cast includes a HOT Vivica Fox as Frankie, who was recently fired from her bank-teller job for a real BS reason and is pissed at society. She gets to kick some major bootie in this film.

Kimberly Elisa plays Tisean, a single mother that has lost her son to child welfare until she can come up with the money she needs to pay for child care while she cleans offices.

Queen Latifah plays Cleo, a raucous, pot-smoking lesbian, who is continuously up for messing around.

And super fiery Jada Pinkett plays Stony, who is in shock after the cops slay her brother in a occurrence of mistaken identity, and she only wants the funds to get out. 'I want to be somebody who doesn't have to do this crap,' she says.

So the girls acquire guns, learn to fire, put on wigs and sunglasses that make their bad old selves look like young Tina Turner clones, and move into the bank-robbing business ' they experience success, which unsurprisingly leaves them wanting more.

Set It Off is funny, action packed, smart and witty. The group of four four perform a crazy Godfather riff, and Cleo, swaggers and whoops ' she's a gigantic, noisy, outrageous bundle of walking black female. In the beginning, the heist business is solely a way to get elsewhere, but as their greed overtakes their better intelligence and their chief pursuer ( John McGinley) closes in on their fantasy world, realty sets in and sends the film in a tragic direction.

If you're looking for a film to watch with your girlfriend or boyfriend, the Set It Off filmis perfect! Both men and women will like this film Men will love the action and women will understand and enjoy the bond these four girls maintain and what drives them. Women (and perhaps a few men) will furthermore enjoy the subplot romance involving Stony and a banker played by Blair Underwood.

You can at the present get the Set It Off movie on Blu-ray, which makes it an astounding high-definition film watching experience!

The Set It Off soundtrack rocks and is a great fit for the film, featuring artists such as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Seal, Busta Rhymes, of course Queen Latifah and even a cameo by Gladys Knight in the song Missing You. Even if you don't like the film, the Set It Off soundtrack alone is worth it. It's a impressive compilation of music.

Learning To Sing - Where To Start

By Charle Rivers

You might enjoy belting your favorite toons in the shower or crooning in your church choir. Regardless of where and when you like to sing, it is never too late to hone your skills if you are serious and passionate. Your beginning level does not matter. Perhaps you cannot hold a tune or are close to auditioning for the opera. Regardless, you need to dispel some common myths before you can reach your potential.

It is not uncommon for people to fail to learn to sing because they believe singing involves some unique, inborn abilities. We have all heard the term "tone-deaf" used to describe someone. It is true that some people are born with an innate ability (or talent) to control pitch or volume but nearly everyone can develop these abilities.

In fact, only two percent of the worlds population truly cannot tell one tone from another! Scientific research has proven that all people can become good singers with a little training. By learning to recognize different tones and pitches, you will actually train your ear to become one with the music.

Do you know if you are a soprano or alto, bass or tenor? Figure out your range and you can pick songs hat will utilize it beautifully. An alto or tenor cannot hope to hit the high notes a soprano belts out, just like a trumpet sounds awkward trying to echo a flute's pitch. Should you take lessons, your teacher can certainly help you figure out your strengths and range. He or she will help you choose songs that make you sound great!

Breathing is also important when trying to sing. After all, who wants to listen to someone gasping for breaths between the melody and verse of a song? When you teach yourself specific breathing techniques, always try to use your diaphragm when singing. You know that you are doing this if your stomach expands with air intake.

Next, sing out of your head, not just your mouth. See your voice moving through your forehead. You will learn to use your "head voice," which sounds pleasing and better to others.

Once you learn all of these basic skills, even the least confident singer will be presenting their voices in the best light. Also, infusing passion and emotion into your performance will certainly up the ante and improve your overall performance because you will be pulling the heartstrings of your audience. This is why just living in the moment and experiencing the song with your most passionate and heartfelt emotions will increase the effectiveness of your performance even if you are not Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston!

As an adult you may regret not learning to sing at an early age while in fact adults benefit from professional training more readily than children. Your voice is fully developed and your ability to understand instruction is too. Be patient with yourself as you try to change a lifetime of incorrect singing habits. A qualified singing teacher can give you the tips, techniques and feedback you need to progress. Your best singing voice is in you, just waiting for the right training, plenty of practice and a chance to show off!

Acoustic Guitar Lessons Online Rock

By Sid Timmons

The acoustic guitar is the age old favorite dating back to 1779. It wasn't until the 1930's that the electric guitar screamed its way on to the music scene. Instruments that inspired the acoustic guitar have been around for a thousand years and include the lute and oud.

How To String A Guitar - Read These 5 Things Before You Start

By Jon J Tan

Changing your own guitar strings is something that every guitarist should know how to do. It is part of the overall guitar maintenance process and there is little reason why you should get somebody else to do it for you. Not to worry, it is quite a simple thing to do this and it is not at all likely that you will cause any damage. Read the 5 tips below to do the string change properly:

1. Buy the right guitar string. Different guitars use different kinds of strings made out of different materials. Using the wrong kind of strings can result in permanent damage to your guitar. Acoustic and electric guitars use metal based strings while classical guitars use nylon strings.

2. Use the correct tension guitar string. For beginners, you would want to start with a lower tension or "gauge" string. You will find that there are several string tensions available at any guitar shop. The higher the "gauge", the higher then tension. Beginners will find that using lower tension strings is more comfortable on the fingers.

3. Do change your guitar strings one at a time. It is recommended that you change the strings one at a time, rather than removing all the strings before replacing them with new ones. This will help preserve the tension of the guitar neck and wood, reducing the possibility of damage to your precious instrument.

4. Use a string winder. A string winder is a valuable tool for any guitarist and it will save valuable time. It will cut down the time you will need to unwind and wind the strings by a significant amount. Use one so you can get back to playing the guitar quickly!

5. Do not cut your strings before tuning. The strings of the guitar have the tendency to slip slightly during the string change process. Because of this reason, it is highly recommended to tune your guitar up to pitch before you cut the strings. If you don't follow this process you might find that the strings might slip off the guitar before you are done.

HDTV DVRs Altering the Way You Watch TV

By Louis Gamahe

The HDTV with its marvelous technological science and has completely changed the way TV shows and movies looked earlier. But there is one nagging problem and that is that the Television shows continue to be bad. A foolish sit-com will insult your intelligence in HD just as easily as it will in standard def, if not more and this is where DVRs come in.

A DVR is a digital VCR, and is also known as a personal VCR, or PVR whose basic purpose is the same as an old Video Cassette Recorder, to record content from broadcast TV. The DVR is however capable of doing much more than the old Video Cassette Recorder, in the sense that it makes TV viewing more crisp where you do not have to waste time watching trash. Plus it is always recording what you are watching, so you'll be able to pause a live transmission as if it were a recording, then come back to it later without missing a thing.

Though regular models are in use from 1999, the later and most recent models are ready to handle high def materials. Driven by a hard disk drive which is larger than the one which your desktop computer carries, the HD-DVR can store high def content spanning 35 hours and 300 hours of general content. naturally the fresh models have improved in other areas, too - for example the TiVo Series 3, for instance, can up scale standard definition content to give it better quality, and can record two channels at the same time while you watch a third.

The shortest and simplest way to obtain a HD-DVR is to take one on rent from the cable company, by paying - per month as rentals, but users usually are not too happy with the shortened memory capacity (8 to 10 hours of high def content) as well as the difficulty in handling the accompanying hardware. The best answer to this issue right now is the TiVo Series 3 HD-DVR, which costs about six hundred dollars but is vastly superior to the typical cable company boxes in transmission quality, storage, and ease of use.

The positive effects of employing this type of recording device are tremendous. You could program it to record any Tv Show of special pursuit to you, even if you are unconscious of its existence - for instance program the TiVo to record all movies starring Tom Cruise screening in any channel anytime. You no longer have to surf through the endless channels for equally endless hours and the best part is that you could view your favorite shows without the both of commercials, and this itself is such a smart way to watch TV.

The affect is so great that nearly 70% of television promoters confirmed in a recent study that with DVR invasion of the market, the thirty second spots would become defunct. And about a quarter of promoters said they would respond by reducing the amount of money spent on Television ads and directing their energy elsewhere. With a Blu-Ray DVD player and an HD-DVR connected to your HDTV, you can finally fight the good fight against the tyranny of insignificant Television ads.

All Time Best Thrillers

By Sh Flynn

Not only do many of the top thriller movies have a twist that will leave you shocked and amazed, they also have a collaboration of a good acting cast, good directing, and music and sound effects that set the right mood.

How well do you know your thriller movies? Lets see if you can guess the quote from my Top 10 thriller movies

1) The days go on and on... they don't end. All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention, I believe that one should become a person like other people.

2) So there's this guy Walsh, do you understand? He's tired of screwin' his wife... So his friend says to him, "Hey, why don't you do it like the Chinese do?" So he says, "How do the Chinese do it?" And the guy says, "Well, the Chinese, first they screw a little bit, then they stop, then they go and read a little Confucius, come back, screw a little bit more, then they stop again, go and they screw a little bit... then they go back and they screw a little bit more and then they go out and they contemplate the moon or something like that. Makes it more exciting." So now, the guy goes home and he starts screwin' his own wife, see. So he screws her for a little bit and then he stops, and he goes out of the room and reads Life Magazine. Then he goes back in, he starts screwin' again. He says, "Excuse me for a minute, honey." He goes out and he smokes a cigarette. Now his wife is gettin' sore as hell. He comes back in the room, he starts screwin' again. He gets up to start to leave again to go look at the moon. She looks at him and says, "Hey, whats the matter with ya. You're screwin' just like a Chinaman!"

3) I didn't say I was different or better. I'm not. Hell, I sympathize; I sympathize completely. Apathy is the solution. I mean, it's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life. It's easier to steal what you want than it is to earn it. It's easier to beat a child than it is to raise it. Hell, love costs: it takes effort and work.

4) I don't want to talk about those things. I see the worst in people. I don't need to look past seeing them to get all I need. I've built my hatreds up over the years, little by little, Henry... to have you here gives me a second breath. I can't keep doing this on my own with these... people.

5) You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

6) O.K... When your mother and father were first divorced, your mom went to see a doctor like me, and he didn't help her. So you think I'm not going to be able to help you

7) Terns? Mmh. If I help you, (characters name), it will be "turns" with us too. Quid pro quo. I tell you things, you tell me things. Not about this case, though. About yourself. Quid pro quo. Yes or no?

8) After that my guess is that you will never hear from him again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone (last lines of the movie)

9) I ain't no white trash piece of ----. I'm better than you all! I can out-learn you. I can out-read you. I can out-think you. And I can out-philosophize you. And I'm gonna outlast you. You think a couple whacks to my guts is gonna get me down? It's gonna take a hell of a lot more than that, Counselor, to prove you're better than me!

10) No sir, YOU are the caretaker. You've always been the caretaker. I ought to know: I've always been here

How To Purchase Surround Sound Theater Speakers

By Dave Heebs

Home theater systems are meant to entertain guests in a movie theater-like environment. People who are purchasing the components to build these systems out are always looking for the best quality they can get. Speakers are one component that can cost alot of money if you are not careful.

But not everyone is a millionaire who can afford the top of the line for everything. Frequently, folks who live in the real world will have to make sacrifices on some of their home theater components. This means getting a second or third tier component that is not as expensive. The good news is that the speaker is the best candidate for this. Speakers are the component where good quality can be had from the second and third tier models. In order to find the best speakers for your home theater system you should do your research in order to make sure you get the right ones for you.

The biggest factor is going to be your budget. There is no use looking at speakers that you have no hope of being able to buy. Your time is precious and researching and looking at speakers in your price range will save you valuable time that is more useful being spent narrowing your list of speaker candidates down.

Some stereo speakers are only compatible with certain components. Most of the time, certain speakers are a better match for certain components. Take stock of the stereo equipment you are planning to buy and make sure you match up the speaker to the components.

The next step is to search online for speakers that fit not only your system's requirements but also your budget. Go through all the speakers that fit and make a list. This will allow you start narrowing down your choices.

The next step is to read as many reviews as possible about the speaker models on your list. These reviews will be from magazines as well as consumers who have bought the model and have real world experience with the speaker. The things you want to focus on are the warranty, the performance and the sound quality.

When buying speakers, you should buy them in a set of five so that you can use them to create surround sound in your movie room. Once you've bought them, you will want to set them up so the speakers literally surround your guests.

Purchasing the right speakers for your home theater system does not have to be the equivalent of going to the dentist. If you take it one step at a time and make sure you stay within budget and do your research, your results will be very rewarding.

The Characters Of Sex And The City

By Lola Jasminia

If you're going to watch Sex And The City to try to figure out exactly what "style" the main character, Carrie Bradshaw, is, then forget it. Carrie has no set "Style" and you'll just drive yourself insane. As the most fashion-forward member of the group, Carrie's closet contains an eclectic mix of vintage, retro, Gap and haute couture. The mix is quite outrageous and extremely fun! Featuring Manolos almost constantly, Carrie also offers up a different signature fashion statement every season. Beginning with her nameplate necklace in season 1 and continuing on with flower pins, Fendi bags, gloves, hats.....

Samantha Jones, one of the Fab Four, is a high-powered, high-class public relations executive. And, as such, she needs to dress professionally during the day. Not toooo professionally, mind you. Her suits are an awesome mix of vivid colors that go wonderfully with her blond hair and show off her killer body.

Another of Carrie's dear friends, Miranda Hobbes, chooses to dress a little more professionally during the day. As an attorney, her position calls for smart, dark suits, and she wears them very well. She prefers sneakers and sweats on the weekends but in the evening, watch out! This redhead is a real knockout!

And then there is Charlotte. Charlotte York, whose wardrobe reflects her Park Avenue lifestyle. All pastels and coordinated, with matching accessories. Her crisp, refreshing take on fashion often makes her appear prim and sometimes grim, but watch when the girls go to Atlantic City! She can haute it up with the best of them!

And what about the men of Sex And The City? Certainly no discussion of the characters would be complete without including Mr. Big. Although his first name is finally revealed in the final episode, and we also learn his full name in the movie, we'll still call him Mr. Big. And being the successful New York businessman that he is, we see him most of the time in Armani....or nothing!

I don't know how Miranda was able to resist Steve Brady for so long! Those beautiful blue eyes behind those glasses get me every time! Jeans and a T-shirt are his attire of choice and I think we only see him in a suit a couple of times throughout the whole series. In fact, the first suit he wears, Miranda has to buy for him!

The man who eventually captures Charlotte's heart, Harry Goldenblatt, is short, bald, very hairy and somewhat of a schlupp. But he's so lovable! As an attorney, he dresses in smart, professional suits during the day. But in the morning and on his days off, he much prefers his birthday suit!

Smith - ya just gotta love him! He's so dedicated to Samantha and he puts up with so much crap from her. As an aspiring actor and fashion model, we get to see Smith with a lot of different looks. And he looks great in anything from jeans to suits to leather....to nothing! Absolut, indeed!

Belle de Jour: Bunuel's wry and upsetting story of a virgirial newlywed who works the night switch in a high-style Parisian brothel, unbeknownst to her spouse. Halo 3

By Casey Jones

The other day, while looking through the Internet for details on the Halo 3 weapons cheats, I stumbled upon a number of what-if situations? What if Master Chief fought different famous characters from movies, comic books, and legends? Here follows a list of some of these battles and my take on the result.

While technically not a Halo 3 weapon cheat, the match-up of Master Chief versus Robocop could be a hot one. According to the information on the Internet both have a few similarities. They're both human, they've both been enhanced, they both have fantastic armour and they are both veteran fighters. Most respondents thought that Master Chief would defeat Robocop, but let's face facts, Master Chief can be defeated with a pistol, whereas Robocop was still going after being blown up at a gas station. The nod has to go to Robocop.

If Master Chief took on the next fighter he would do well to have a Halo 3 weapon cheat. The next is MacGyver. Master Chief has a lot going for him. He is an expert with a number of weapons; he has that amazing armour; he has some incredible vehicles at his disposal; he's a Clint Eastwood type loner and he can repair himself. However, in short, MacGyver is brain over brawn. It would probably come down to the same considerations in a fight between Batman and Superman. However, if it's a closed arena where it's man versus man, Master Chief is going to win. But put this contest in the real world with Swiss army knives and plastic tape at his disposal, and MacGyver's going to wipe the floor with our bionic pal.

So far Master Chief is 2-0 down, it's starting to look like he can really use a Halo 3 weapon cheat. But we'll give him another go. This time it's Master Chief versus Terminator. We already know Master Chief's strengths, the Terminator's are an ability to master any weapon, relentless willpower, doesn't get tired, amazing detrermination to destroy his target. It all boils down to the Spartan laser weapon. As one voter pointed out, if Master Chief can destroy vehicles with this weapon he can certainly put a sizeable hole in the Terminator too.

Let's have one more battle before Master Chief finds his Halo 3 weapon cheat. What would he do against Boba Fett from Star Wars? The main differences between Master Chief and Boba Fett are that Boba has no shields, owns his own ship and has a jet pack.

Many people believe Star Wars wins this battle, but Master Chief's weapons are much more powerful than those owned by the bounty hunter. This one makes it even at 2-2. Master Chief is 50-50.

So, those are the results of the survey - the people have spoken. In this tiny poll that we found on the Internet, Master Chief is your average kind of super hero, who is not sure to win every single fight, unless he finds his weapon cheats or the story writers want him to, that is.

You Need To Pay For Legal Music Downloads

By John Roberts

Legal music downloads are only legal if you pay for them. Obviously, there are still peer-to-peer sites out there that you can get free music from and it is always tempting to use those instead of paying for your music library. After all, there are so many people out there in cyberspace, how could anyone possibly be worried about one lonely person is doing?

The record companies are noticing who is doing what and from where. The entire music industry loses millions of dollars through music piracy. And although, you might think that your music library does not amount to much, you need to start thinking in more legal terms. The original download of each song and every upload is considering a single cont of piracy.

Depending on how much music you have pirated, you can end up owing the record companies thousand of dollars. Some people have even racked up over a million dollars in fines and copyright fees. Most of the people that are caught not using legal music downloads are college students or average citizens. The record companies will often settle out of court and have only made examples of a select few.

However, the average person cannot afford several thousands of dollars in fines so it is best to pay the money upfront and save you the headache in the future. Since many of the legal music downloading sites have taken care of the DRM restrictions, once you pay for a song you can do what you will with it. You can share the song, put it on your digital music player or copy to your own CD mix.

Most people only want a track or two off of an album, so you are looking at cost of $0. 99 to $1. 29 per track. This is not a moral decision. By paying for your music upfront you could be saving yourself a lot of money.

They have a legal foothold to sue those that do have legal music downloads. According to the piracy laws, when people used to record music onto a cassette from the radio, they had a right to sue. They just did not have a way to track the people that were doing it and the music industry just had to accept the loss.

It the best course of action is to pay your money upfront and happily trot off with your music to do what you will with it. When faced with alternative, is there a better solution?

Goddess Kali, first of the Tantric Wisdom Goddesses Mahavidya

Kali is the first of the 10 Tantric Goddesses or "Mahavidya" as they are called (Maha: great, Vidya: knowledge). She is most often portrayed with black skin, many arms, wide open eyes and wearing a necklace of severed heads. She dances on the dead body of the Lord Shiva. Her tongue hangs wildly out of her mouth and she laughs loudly at the attachments of us humans. She is indeed terrible to behold!

This gruesome iconography hides a lot of very deep symbolism. Our coming death is symbolized in the severed heads around her neck. The polar aspect of the universe is represented by the transcendent (dead) body of shiva who is the masculine principle while she herself symbolizes the wild uncontroleable feminine energy. Kali also symbolizes wild and dangerous erotic energy which is this aspect we will go more in depth with in this article.

Goddess Kali and eroticism

These terrifying sides of Kali hide one great truth about her. Kali is raw and dangerous sexual energy and this is why we see her as being so terrible. If we cannot control the sexual energy we end up dead like Lord Shiva lying at her feet. If we can control her she becomes our biggest ally, friend and mother. A woman who starts a serious worship of the great Kali will start to incorporate her qualities in her being, she will become powerful and in touch with her sexual energy and will terrify those who are not in touch with their sexual energy. But she will help and guide those who dare to look into her eyes.

Egoistic minds which are stiff and fearful cannot encompass such great feminine sexuality. Down through the ages men have feared this feminine power and the female power has been suppressed for centuries. As we fear the erotically awakened powerful woman, we fear life itself which is feminine and expansive.

This is why Kali is portrayed as being so terrifying. Unpolarized feminine energy can become chaotic, wild and destructive finally toppling consciousness or the masculine principle.

Goddess Kali, The Keeper Of Kundalini

In the tantric tradition it is stated that our spiritual evolution commences with a deep awakening of our sexual energy. This energy is called Kundalini and is stored at the base of the spine. When we succeed to awaken this energy it will start to dance up our spine transmuting into finer types of energy as it goes upward finally meeting the pure consciousness of lord Shiva at the top of the head.

Like a snake tamer plays the flute and his snake dances for him, our kundalini will dance for us when we awaken her through intense spiritual practice.

Goddess Kali and tantric ritual

Kali is invoked by meditating with her mantra (which is given by a Guru or tantric master) and can be worshipped by the continual gazing upon a yantra (see picture). Working with yantras is a powerful way to calm down the mind and to enter into a trance like state with the Goddess.

The most powerful way to worship Kali is through Tantric erotic ritual. These rituals start with the man worshipping the woman as being the great Goddess herself. Then follows the foreplay and lovemaking acts. After this the man and woman separate and each make a sadhana (spiritual practice) dedicated to the Goddess. This sadhana may consist of Asanas (yoga postures), Pranayamas (breathing exercises) and meditations.

If done correctly and at the right moments, these rituals will create deep processes of transformation in the hearts of the two lovers.

Full Movies Download

Movies And MP3

Movies and MP3 files are already compressed with near maximum capacity. Repacking them would just create larger files and increase decompression time. Ripped movies are still packaged due to the large file size, but compression is disallowed and the RAR format is used only as a container. Because of this, modern playback software can easily play a release directly from the packaged files, and even stream it as the release is downloaded (if the network is fast enough).

MP3 and music video releases are an exception in that they are not packaged into a single archive like almost all other sections. These releases have content that is not further compressible without loss of quality, but also have small enough files that they can be transferred reliably without breaking them up. Since these releases rarely have large numbers of files, leaving them unpackaged is more convenient and allows for easier scripting. For example, scripts can read ID3 information from MP3s and sort releases based on those contents.
